Natalie and Ginger
This is Natalie and her hog Ginger, whom she named after her red hair. This was Natalie’s first year for showing hogs, and she placed First place in Showmanship !! It was a very tough goodbye last year at the end of fair to say goodbye to Ginger, but after many hugs inside the pen, we finally got Natalie to leave her best friend. This is the tough part of being a 4-Her. But we are beyond proud of what she learned and how she did and can’t wait to see what this second year brings her!
Grace and Asher
This is me and my market pig, Asher. He was a wild and people loving pig. He is going to be missed!
Late night meet and greet.
Couldn’t wait for morning to go see 4-h pigs. Went out late at night in jammies to love on them.
Samantha Whitehead, shown with her dairy cattle, Echo and Encore, are prepared to kick off the Shiawassee County Fair!
Tug o’ war
Puppy vs grandson for possession of the basketball was a pretty good match up but the boy won!
We were having family pictures done and our daughter wanted one with her horse. The photographer said smile and that’s what we got.
Sugar, Orion, Maya
Miah and Phil
Phil is my Oxford market lamb and he has an irreplaceable attitude and manner ❤️
Colt and Rex
This is Colt’s 2 nd year with a dairy feeder project! He loves his calf because he is so friendly and loves to be scratched.
Faith and Hope
Faith and Hope have been working together for 3 years now. Faith enjoys nothing more than the time she spends with Hope. When her calf comes this winter she is hoping for a girl and she will name her Love. Faith, Hope, and Love. What a wonderful trio
